Gary E. Oliver OD

Dr. Oliver lectures extensively both nationally and internationally on ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, ocular pharmacology, primary eye care and surgical co-management. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor for the State University of New York State College of Optometry, Director of Eye Care Services at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and a private practitioner. Dr. Oliver is also an Adjunct Professor at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and a visiting lecturer for the Department of Optometry at the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia.

Formerly, he has held positions as the Regional Clinical Director for TLC Laser Eye Centers in the Philadelphia, PA area and the Chief of the Ocular Disease & Special Testing Service at the SUNY State College of Optometry. Dr. Oliver is a 1979 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completed a Hospital Based Residency in Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
